Our Civic Impact in the Pioneer Valley

Freemasonry teaches us that our highest calling is to support those around us. Mountain Lodge doesn't just meet inside our historic building—we actively work to strengthen the social fabric of Shelburne Falls. From supporting local families to maintaining our hall as an open neighborhood resource, here is how we invest back into our community.

Where Our Efforts Go

Initiative Who It Helps Our Active Role
Community Hall Use Shelburne Falls Senior Center We proudly support the local Senior Center by offering deeply below-market rental rates for our first-floor Masonic building space, ensuring our elders have a safe, accessible place to gather.
Caring for Our Brothers Lodge Members True community starts at home. We actively support our fellow lodge members who are going through difficult times—whether mentally or physically—including coordinating regular check-ins for homebound members.
Supporting Our Widows Families of Departed Members We honor our lifelong commitments by looking after the widows of our members, stepping in to assist them with home maintenance and everyday tasks that have become too difficult to handle alone.
Pediatric Care Partnership Shriners Children's New England A portion of our charitable donations is distributed directly to our affiliate organization, Shriners Children’s in Springfield, supporting specialized care in orthopedics, urology, rheumatology, and cleft lip/palate for children regardless of a family's ability to pay.
